Empire Cinemas Ltd is pleased to announces the completion of a £2.25 million refurbishment programme of its 10 screen cinema at Tower Park.

Since opening in December 1989 the cinema has welcomed over 15 million guests through its doors and has screened more than 8,000 movies making it one of the UK’s most successful cinemas.

The programme of works has included the full refurbishment of all auditoria and the introduction of ‘stadium’ seating along with new cinema seating throughout, including Empire Cinemas ‘Premium’ seat available to those who book on the web.

Other works have included a re-styled entrance, Box Office, foyer and corridor areas, total refurbishment of the toilet areas,  a new concessions area including Pick n Mix and Ben & Jerry / Costa Café and Ticket Collection & Sales ATMs.

Disabled Facilities:
All screens are fitted with Infra Red Hearing systems compatible with most hearing aids. Please ask at the cinema for further details.

Disabled guests can enjoy full access to all areas of the cinema. There is a ramp to the Cinema entrance and internally Wheelchair Spaces & Carer Seats are available (in selected areas of the Auditoria). The foyer, disabled toilet and entrance to all screens are all on one level.

CEA Card:
As part of a general cinema industry initiative, all our cinemas accept the CEA Card which entitles the holder to one free ticket for their carer (Click here for further details).
