Tickets are sold at the price displayed during the ordering process. All prices and fees include any applicable Value Added Tax.
Uplifts are payable for special formats and premium seating at the prices stated on the Web Site during the booking process and at the till/ATM in Cinema at the time of purchase.
Ticket prices may vary for certain performances, such as Event Cinema (e.g. Opera, Ballet, Sport , Exhibitions, Music etc). Please see price listed at point of purchase.
Certain movies (typically “blockbusters”) may be priced at a higher rate than “standard” and as such Empire reserve the right to levy an upgrade fee at the point of purchase, please contact your local Empire cinema for details regarding particular films.
Where provided, customers can use eCodes (Meerkat Movies, CEA Card, Third Party agencies) to purchase tickets either online or in cinema. eCodes are valid for 'standard seting' / 2D Performances excluding Event Cinema presentations.
Blockbuster Uplift charges apply along with IMAX, IMPACT, D-Box and seat upgrades - payable at the point of purchase.

To purchase family tickets online, just select the "Family " ticket which will automatically add four tickets at a time to your booking.
Photographic proof of eligibility may be required for any discounted tickets.
ID may also be required for entry into 12A, 15 and 18 certificate films.
Much as it pains us to turn people away, we have a legal and social obligation to ensure that people are of the appropriate age to watch films at our cinemas so please do not be offended if our team ask you for ID.
If you are fortunate enough to appear young for you age, please make sure you bring appropriate photo ID for all age restricted films to avoid disappointment.
Empire Cinemas accepts the following forms of ID, Passport (original or photo), Driving Licence, any ID that carries the 'PASS' logo, any 'Education' issued Pass which carries, photo & DOB.
Empire Cinemas welcomes Validate UK cards in all it’s cinemas. Validate UK is a PASS accredited proof of age scheme. The Validate card is recognised as an official proof of age document for 12, 15 and 18 year olds in most licensed venues across the country; it also entitles the bearer to various discounts (detailed on the Validate website). In addition to the ticket price, an Online Booking Fee is payable for tickets purchased online or via mobile devices, and this will be notified to you during the booking process. This includes purchases made using the Empire Cinemas Film Card.
The Online Booking Fee is charged by Empire Cinemas Limited for the online service which it offers to customers. Information about this charge and your contractual relationship with Empire Cinemas Limited can be found in the relevant Terms and Conditions. The fee is levied to cover ongoing web development costs and other IT related operational costs. For the avoidance of doubt no part of the Online Booking Fee relates to the costs of card handling or for the use of a credit or debit card in the transaction.
A maximum of 20 tickets can be purchased at any one time on our Online Booking service. The Online Booking Fee will be charged at the rate of 70p per ticket up to a maximum of charge of £4.20 per transaction. These charges are highlighted at the very beginning of the booking process, and indeed throughout allowing the customer the opportunity to discontinue with the booking should they so wish. No cost is incurred for purchasing tickets at the cinema from either the box office or automatic ticket machines.
