10 Ways We Have Made Your Visit Safer.


In order that you can relax and enjoy your visit to our cinemas we have implemented a range of measures in Cinema. These are designed to ensure social distancing is be observed and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both customers & colleagues.

Social distancing measures will be in place throughout the Cinema.

We ask that where possible tickets are BOOKED ONLINE. We encourage either the confirmation email or e-tickets be used for entry to help maintain social distancing.
A selection of Retail items are also available to purchase online for collection n Cinema.

Please use a Cashless Payment method - we accept contactless card payments up to the value of £45 or you can use an Empire Film Card. Payment can also be made using Apple Pay and Google Pay at till points.

Additional cleaning practises have been put in place across the cinema.

Hand sanitiser stations will be available for both customers and staff throughout the cinema.

Our teams will be monitoring capacities. There may be times when customers are asked to wait outside - we appreciate your understanding and patience.

Staggered show times will allow more time between screenings to reduce the build up of crowds and to allow enhanced cleaning in the Auditoria between shows,

Our booking system has been updated to ensure social distancing is in place whilst at the same time allowing  you to sit within your social bubbles.

You will notice the addition of plastic screens at till points and PPE in use where social distancing is unable to be maintained.

Our employees will receive specific COVID-19 training and the use of PPE equipment as identified in our risk assessments and in accordance with published Government guideline.

All customers are required to wear a face covering during their visit (unless exempt), although you are able to remove this to consume food and drink.


Customers aged 16 and over will be asked to give details upon booking as part of the Test & Trace initiative, to help keep you and others safe for your next visit. This can be done Online (as part of the booking process) or in Cinema, either by scanning the NHS Test & Trace QR code or by providing these details to a member of staff.

We ask that should you or any member of your Household/Bubble be showing any symptoms of COVID-19 to please stay at home.
