10 Ways We Have Made Your Visit Safer.


We’ve been working hard to ensure that your visit to your Empire Cinema will be as enjoyable as it used to be. In order for us to do this we will be implementing the following safety measures,


Social distancing measures will be in place throughout the Cinema. Please 'KEEP YOUR DISTANCE' and 'RESPECT OTHERS'.

We ask that where possible tickets are BOOKED ONLINE. We encourage either the confirmation email or e-tickets be used for entry to help maintain social distancing.
A selection of Retail items are also available to purchase online for collection n Cinema.

Please use a Cashless Payment method - we accept contactless card payments up to the value of £45 or you can use an Empire Film Card.

Additional cleaning practises have been put in place across the cinema.

Hand sanitiser stations will be available for both customers and staff throughout the cinema.

Our teams will be monitoring capacities. There may be times when customers are asked to wait outside - we appreciate your understanding and patience.

Staggered show times will allow more time between screenings to reduce the build up of crowds and to allow enhanced cleaning in the Auditoria between shows,

Our booking system has been updated to ensure social distancing is in place whilst at the same time allowing  you to sit within your social bubbles.

You will notice the addition of plastic screens at till points and PPE in use where social distancing is unable to be maintained.

Our employees will receive specific COVID-19 training and the use of PPE equipment as identified in our risk assessments and in accordance with published Government guideline.

We ask that should you or any member of your Household/Bubble be showing any symptoms of COVID-19 to please stay at home.

Please also follow Government guidelines with regards to wearing face coverings.
